After a hike through ancient Mayan ruins, a swim in a cenote in Cancun reminded me why connecting with nature through travel can change how we care for the Earth.

What I gained by visiting these countries was more than I’ll ever be able to really comprehend. Each experience shaped my view of the world in ways I never expected.
